The Alabama Hunter Jumper Association (AHJA) is a 501(c)3 educational and charitable organization made up of over 300 members across the state of Alabama and represents those who participate in English riding, specifically in hunter/jumper equestrian sports. In addition to promoting and supporting the horse industry in Alabama and the southeastern United States, we help to educate children each year through equine related endeavors and horsemanship programs. We also award two $1,500.00 educational scholarships annually to deserving Alabama high school graduating seniors. Other local non-profit organizations that receive our support are the Alabama Special Equestrians, Alabama 4-H, and The Spirit of Hope Youth Ranch.
Each year, the AHJA sanctions over 25 horse shows throughout the state, ranging from Huntsville to Andalusia. Our year-end horse show held in Andalusia, Alabama, draws attendance from other states, such as, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, and Arkansas. Our annual awards banquet boasts well over 200 in attendance.
Opportunities to sponsor activities and competitions within the AHJA have recently been established and we would like for you to consider our association as a benefactor of your support. Perhaps you have a personal interest in our association with one or more of your children riding and competing, or perhaps you would like to have your company’s logo represented and promoted at our meetings, competitions, and website – if so, we have enclosed more information for you and an explanation of sponsorship levels and benefits. Because we are a 501(c)3 organization, your generous contributions are tax-deductible. We look forward to hearing from you!
